Children continue to be infected with HIV in increasing numbers.
It is estimated globally that by 2010 more than 1 million children will be orphaned by AIDS.
Bickford-Land clinic for mothers and children was organized to provide holistic clinical care, education and support to HIV infected Vietnamese orphaned children and their affected families. The clinic is to provide support so that these children and their families can live together, with improved quality of life, knowing that they are accepted, understood, loved and cared for while maintaining confidentiality and integrity. We will ensure access to medical care, treatment, testing, integrated education, and social services.
